"Very helpful, professional and pointed me in the right direction. This was my first time dealing with a SAP counselor. Not knowing what to expect, very nervous or what to do Bill was very helpful and had me set up for counseling and helped me in getting my CDL back."

"My experience working directly with apple valley counseling has been life changing for a lack of better words. When I first came to apple valley counseling for anger management and domestic violence treatment, I was a statistical 29 year old male, under the impression that I was always right and of course the court system and the service providers working with them were out to get me, I mean they had to be right, because as far as I was concerned I didn’t have any issues and I most definitely was not responsible for committing any acts which the court and apple valley counseling would have me involved in treatment for. During my 9 month transition, all the counselors, front office staff and apple valley’s director Bill Ellis, we’re understanding of my mentality; they allowed me to go at my own pace as to fully understand and retain all the information I needed in order to make positive, cognitive changes in my life. They also pushed me to be better, they saw something good in me when I couldn’t see it myself, the best part is that it all came so naturally for them to recognize these traits in my person which made things very comfortable, I was changing for the better without even being aware. The coaching personality, and supportive mentality, along with an empathetic approach from the staff helped and allowed me to not only make changes but make those changes willingly and earnestly for myself. Apple valley counseling helped to boost my moral and confidence to a point that now I walk tall knowing I can accomplish sobriety and add true value to others I come in contact with. I am now carrying the tools necessary to stay sober and help others to achieve their goals of sobriety, as to be supportive through their journey and share the skills I now possess!"
